So...a little about me...

I was born in Wise County, Virginia on a December day in 1977.
I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina where I currently reside.
I started playing Bass in 1992 at the age of 13-14.
I attended Travelers Rest High School and during that time i was privileged
enough to be accepted to the Fine Arts Center. I attended the Fine arts Center Jazz Program; taught by Steve Watson, for Two Years, cutting my musical teeth if you will.

After years of playing in several bands in the Greenville area
I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2001, to attend the Atlanta Institute of Music and further my musical education.
Upon Graduating I toured and played the regional SouthEast and Atlanta area
with many different bands.

Spending from 2001 to 2006 in Atlanta i decided to move back to my hometown of Greenville, South Carolina to pursure a different type of musical life.

Being where i grew up makes me happy and being happy makes playing a lot more fun. I started playing Bass because it made me happy so i think i'll stick around here for awhile...

On a more personal note...

Besides being a Bass Player, i have to pay the bills, so i am an art framer
for a gallery downtown. I work for good people and i truly don't hate getting up to go to work everyday like at most times in my life.

marcy on baldrockI also have a superbad bestest doggie friend named Marcy. She's an 8 year old Rottweiler, and truly the pinnacle of socialization and how to raise a large breed that is everything you want in a protector but well behaved and kid friendly, literally. i got her while i lived in Atlanta, when she was found wandering in a neighborhood at around one year old. I responded to a rescue add and my life was forever changed for the better.

I am also engaged to a wonderful woman named Sarah.shaun and sarah pic
We met after I returned from Atlanta at Fall for Greenville. This is another life changing event that has made me a better person.
The date hasn't been set yet, but it will be in the near future.

I also have quite a few hobbies including but not limited to: photography, video games( I am a Sony Loyalist ) as well as a "PC" , astronomy, and tons of miscellaneous computer geeky stuff like networking, Graphic and Web Design, Digital Art, Animation, and the list goes on, but Bass and Music are the core staples.
